United States Customs
Crossing back across the border can be as tricky as getting there in the first place. If you have any questions about U.S. border rules or what you can bring back into the U.S. consult the U.S. Customs website. Visit Customs.gov.
Local Weather
Canada has a much different climate that you are probably used to. Pack accordingly, check the local weather before packing, and be sure to come prepared! Check the weather in Minaki, Ontario.
Driving Directions
If you are coming through International Falls, take Hwy 11 West to Hwy 71. Take Hwy 71 North to Hwy 17, and turn left towards Kenora. You will come to the Kenora bypass 17A; take it to Hwy 596. Turn right, heading North to the Minaki junction. Turn left onto Hwy 525; follow it for 6 miles and turn left onto Cygnet Lake Road. Continue for 6 miles and it will take you right to Camp.
If you are coming from Winnipeg, take Hwy 1 East, which becomes Hwy 17 in Ontario. Follow it to the 17A Kenora bypass. Turn left onto Hwy 596 heading North to Hwy 525 North at the Minaki junction. Follow it for 6 miles and turn left onto Cygnet Lake Road. Continue for 6 miles and it will take you right to Camp.
